Rhys, I'm not sure this is what you want, but Patto's vac bodies do just fine on the Super32 Playfit chassis. I'm currently building a Land Speed Record attempt car with an Audi streamliner body from the '30s. The best thing about Patto's is that they are freshly made. They don't get brittle for a looong time.

Depends on what you're trying to achieve? Do you want a fun car, a competitive car? I have a Carrera Nissan GT500 which is a very nice Div 2 car, a Lexan Toyota 88C which is a great super 32 and was bought locally (also available are Porsche 962 and the Nissan R390). And Slot.it cars make a very good Division 1 cars...

Look at the different cars that have already been done at http://www.aplafitc.com.au/rules32gt.php

The Carrera Nissan GT500 is really a good catch car. Many car owners say that it is one of the cars that has great features. It is also good for any car race.

Hi Rhys,
It really depends on what you want to achieve and how you want to go about it.

At Andrews, their Div 2 cars are as fast as their Div 1 cars...
If you want to compete in the APC type events, I suggest you bite the bullet and get Andrew or Werner to make one up for you. But for racing at Andrews, their rules are a little more relaxed so you can be competitive with a car you have built yourself.
If you want a couple of suggestions on what to run, I would suggest you look at what they run at Andrews.
In Div 1, The Mosler or the Nissan 390 GT are usually the body of choice from the list of available bodies.
In Div 2, Werner runs a Ninco Ford GT, Andrew runs a Ninco MacLaren GTR and Simon even runs a SCX Volvo so it is mainly up to what you prefer.

Have a look at the legal bodies lists for both Div 1 & 2 and work out which car you already own and can destroy to get the body.

Have a talk to me or Norm at the next meeting and we will see what you really want to do.
Cheers
Kev.
