A couple I knocked up earlier

Just for the crowing I have attached some pictures of a couple of models I have just completed. The first is an Airfix - MRRC Maserati 250F in which I tried my first GP PCB chassis. It is also a front engine to allow extra cockpit detail and a full length driver. There is a bit of ballast either side of the rear axle to generate a bit of grip and balance.











The next is a model I made for a friend. Unlike my first W154, this has an NC8 tucked up the back in a brass rail chassis and slot.it gears and axles. I drove this one before painting the body and it was very well behaved.











Both models have Scalextric Ferrari 375 wheels and tyres which I bought as axle sets from Scalexworld Adelaide. I'm looking forward to giving the Maserati a good outing soon and I'm sure the Mercedes owner will be equally pleased with his!!
