Proto Slot

There seams to be a steady stream of good models from Protoslot. This time it is the Ligier Maserati and a superb Matra 650. Protoslot a;lso release a lot of their models as body kits under the name 'Ghost Models'

Funny u bring it up
Got a 016 Alfa33/2 longtail that i am just going to do
As well as a RMS Cheeta LMM Matra 630 and a TKP porsche 6 longtail
BUsy busy busy- not to mention all the great cars coming out this year
If u have not done a kit -try one, but get it complete-motor chassis rims tires axles etc.
Only trouble i am having is the axles seem a bit small for the aluminum rims(No set screws)
Even Nincos are a bit small

Hey Verne,

My Alfa 33/2 short tail version was missing the rim screws as well and I wasn't able to find any that fitted so I ended up having to glue the wheels on. The only other problem I had was fitting the mirrors in place so i gave up on those most vulnerable items. The car is no race winner but I get a lot of pleasure from driving the car none the less. It looks good and there is no other car like it on the track either so it is really quite unique. It was also the very first full build of a car I have ever completed and that made it quite special for me too. Good luck and enjoy your build Verne.
