End of Speed on Tweed!!

Postby wixwacing » Wed 10 Sep, 2008 11:42 pm

I've heard it through the grapevine that this year will be the official last 'Speed on Tweed' for what ever reason. I came to this event late and liked it greatly and I feel there is going to be a bit of a hole in the year now?

The Leyburn Sprint is a shadow compared to FOSOT and it looks like Lakeside and its new management will be holding the candle for classic motor sport. It is such a pity as most European countries now hold classic motor sport events which are extremely well marketed and attended.

When I'm not racing slotcars,
I'm out in the back yard, burning food!!

When I win, it's because of my talent, not my car or my controller!
