The Slotcar Outhouse

Specifically the Plymouth superbird driven by Petty, #42.

Im looking to model it into the character "The King" from The Disney movie "Cars" so you can even keep the interior if your into modelling resin bodies.

Because Im going to be painting it and possibly modelling a mouth on it Im a bit reluctant to get a new one.

This will be the first of many hopefully - as soon as I find out what make of car will fit "Lightning McQueen", Dodge Viper perhaps? And work out what some of the other characters are and if a company makes that model.

Disney has a website with sets of character cars from the movie. They are roughly 1/30 scale. I did a Hudson Hornet by sectioning the body vertically to slim it down. Its fairly believeable, actually. Nice weight to the plastic body, too- good for smacking competitors with a good old 1950's fishtail.

I do have some extra wing warrior car bodies, maybe there's a Superbird. I know there's a Charger Daytona in there.
