Mustang chassis and front wheels

Post by denny »

I am now after a Straight ( not Buckled or bent ) Scalextric Mustang chassis Not worried about scratches ,as well as a couple of sets of front Mustang wheels that are actually centred on the Axle .Just bought my 3rd Mustang and they all had wonky wheels. The chassis is for a scratch build .Thanks Dennis

I bought a couple of these new with front wheels and axles from Armchair Racer, they might still have them? They are the older non-dpr type which is what I wanted but interestingly or annoyingly depending on your point of view the push in guide holder was larger in diameter and height so the standard guide flag didn't fit. Sorted with an auto-art guide and some fiddling so that it would self centre. If that helps and you want a photo of the finished product let me know. Cheers
