Q32 March meeting at the Narangbaring

Post by wixwacing »

A commincation from Glen, Chasps!!

Hi guys,

The March meeting is almost here and this month we are heading out to John and Sue’s home at Narangba on Saturday the 20th. With the good turn outs we are experiencing with racing lately we are going to get things moving along at 4pm sharp with minimal time between heats so please be ready to race once your name is called or you may be watching a heat without you in it.

Classes for the round are:

GT1 Group1 (NC1/NC8 powered cars)

LMP (Le Mans Prototype 1990 0nwards)

Sports Sedans/Group 5 (Capri, Porsche 935, Lancia Beta, Celica, etc Group 5 spec) (Moffat Mustang, etc Sports Sedan)

If in doubt about the classes please ring me for further information.

Lets make it another outstanding round of slot car racing.

Regards,

Glen

Glen, Is it an 18,000 rpm @ 12.0 V motor event or are Slot.its and the like eligible??

Hi Phil,

The number one rule for Q32 is, NO SLOT-IT'S allowed so no mate they can not run. Yes the 18,000rpm standard is invoked as normal.

Thanks,

Egg always have been always will be. But the 635 I am not sure about them. I thought they may have been in the touring class or sedan class. If you can show they ran in Group 5 or Sports Sedans then by all means i guess they can run.
