Trophy class poll, pay attention at the back!

Post by wixwacing »

OK Here we go, after exercising more than enough leniency I have listed the vast majority (although not all) of the classes suggested. I have had to take the axe to a couple of suggestions for what seemed to me to be blatantly obvious reasons (are you listening Perro and Eggy!)

This has narrowed it down to TWELVE choices and because of this, I have enabled the poll to accept UP TO THREE votes from everyone. You do not need to cast three votes if you don't want to. The poll will not accept voting for the same class three times, Jordan! I have also allowed you to change your vote should you wish to, right up to close of poll.

You will need to be registered and logged on to vote. Anyone registering in more than one name will have the back of their legs severely slapped, Kev!

The class to achieve greatest popularity at time of poll closure will be the new Trophy Class. Thereafter we will need to iron out the fine details for the class.

So, lets see what sort of a pigs ear we can make of this, guys! I stand back in anticipation!!

Lock em in Eddie, err I mean Phil. And that's without deleting 2 wrong answers, phoning a friend or 50/50. But Phil, I did not see the sidecar motorbikes option! What gives?

G'day all
Just a note to say I will not be voting 'til the last minute probably on the long weekend, in case there is a tied situation. At close of polling there should just be ample time to sort a model out. IF there is a tie for first, I am open to bribery and graft! I'll be off scanning the Ostorero site if you want me!

Robert, I think the daytona Prototype class is too limited at this time to form a full on class.

I agree with Perro :P
You would have had to split your vote as they are in the Poll twice.. ... once in Daytona prototypes and the other in Grand-Am, with other types of GT cars..
Sorry Rob, It looks like you and I are the only ones with the prototypes.
Cheers
Kev.

Yeah, that's fair enough.

I don't think Phil has listed it as Grand Am including the Daytona Prototypes, as there are two types of racing in Grand Am. You've got the Daytona Prototypes in the Rolex Sports Car Series, and then you have everything else which races in the Koni Sports Car Challenge, which is the Porsches, etc etc.

All good :P

G'day guys

I have posted the classes as they were called but I would be inclined to interpret it as being Grand Am without Daytona pro's as they would be too dominant!!Much like we don't include Moslers etc in the JGTC GT500 class. In my view and experience it would be counter to the spirit of the event. If guys want to race Daytona pros then they should include them in their choice.

Also, whatever class comes out on top, there would need to be some minor debate of the finer points as the pro's and con's come to light.

Ken assures me he is going to vote and I will be asking Bob for his choice and registering him by proxy as he is not a computer user but he is still a very real Slotcar Legend!!!

G'day Guys

I have registered and voted on behalf of Bob.

I have also put my vote in. A couple of guys at Pauls said they could only put one vote in?? I have done Bob's and it took them all?? Please check what you have done and let me know. You have to be logged on to vote and after you vote and press submit, you should see your choices ticked in the refreshed list. I will say it again, you MUST be logged on.
