Scaley Digital racing on the Gold Coast

Post by Paul NZ »

Anyone interested in SSD racing on the Gold Coast?

I have a routed digital track that is in need of some/lots of cars to be driven on it.

I am open to suggestions with the car classes, I would like to see V8, sports cars and Classic LeMans.

Post a reply If you would like to do something here

Cheers

Not alot of digital owners here, that I know of.

I couldnt generate much interest in it myself so went back to analogue recently.

Hi Paul

Welcome to the Outhouse, Routed digital? Mmmmmmmmm? As Bill has mentioned, digital is a bit light on the ground here but there is a small dedicated core of racers. I am currently helping a fellow racer at Acacia Ridge set up a new switchable Digital/analogue track.

Feel free to post articles and pictures as it can only be beneficial. Maybe we could muster a posse to visit if there is enough interest (you may need to supply the models though!) The Gold coast is a mighty big space! What suburb are you in? PM me this board if you want any more info.

I'm out in the back yard, burning food!!

When I win, it's because of my talent, not my car or my controller!

Hi, thanks for the feeback.

Ok I'm in Pacific Pines by Wet n Wild. 30 min from Acacia ridge, I travel there every day for work.

I will have @ 4-6 V8's chipped soon so to get things going supplying the cars could be an option.

Hope to hear from some more interested people soon

Cheers

Hi jordan

A Porsche ay, That should run against my Marcos nicely in the Sports car Class

I have posted a couple of pics below but I need to take some more as I have done loads more since.

Its a replica of the Gold Coast track at Surfers.

Soon I will put a date on the first meet but you are welcome to bring your car for a test run, just PM me.

I'll post some more pics soon, there may be some more on the Auslot Forum...Gold Coast Raceway
