One for Glen

Post by wixwacing »

I know you are a purist Glen and love your NC1's (as do I) but I need a point of clarification. In the past we have raced Ninco Corvettes and Healeys in NC1/8 form even though they never came with them. Does this still hold or is it Ninco Classic Sports NC1 as they come from the box??

Hi Phil,

I hope the modified cars with the Perro NC1 equivalent are still homologated to run as that is all I have left.

Which ones came with the NC1 already installed ?

Yes everyone all those cars from that class whether fitted with NC1, NC2, NC5, NC6, NC8 or NC14 are only allowed to run if the car is fitted with either an NC1 or NC8 or BWA equivalent motor fit or as a replacement. Keeping the cars box stock would preclude any Ninco Sports classic release over the past 5 years or so hence the need to specify the motors as stated above.

And remember, slot cars or I are the winners on the night!!!

Thanks for the clarification Glen,

But maybe you won't be the winner on the night.
Don't forget we will have a little(if you'll pardon the expression) competition from the very deep south down Mexico way.
He USED to be pretty good   But after all those cold summers down there, he mightn't feel his fingers by the end of the night. Or is that the anti-freeze.
Cheers

Just going off the timing that race starts etc, I won't be able to make it to Perros round anyway. Won't be able to get away from birthday thing until 4pm, by the time I'd get up to the coast it'd be after 6 :|

Hi Rob

We can always run some hot laps at Chris's on the Friday night, I'm sure he would like to do that
