Dave I think they may be the gun car for that class. Judging from their performance a few times in the 2011 season they will be the bench mark for others to follow.

Unknown quantity here would be the new Carrera 2002 for magnet track applications. Quick car.....low body weight!! Mmmmmmm?

Well after a few drives I do like the Beamer :) Carrera have really lifted their game of late compared to the earlier cars I owned. I also got the Carrera Corvette C6R (cause I liked the way it looked) and I am please with how it drives it ins't an NSR but then neither was the price and it handles as well if not better than any Scalextric car and is $10 less expensive.

Ripper of a class , I think alot of models will be competative . Cawarwa (carrera) M3 and Z3 , Ninco M3 on board , Fly M1 everywhere .
I even have a spirit Jagermeister 630 that goes like a slot.it ( watch out fella's ) . No doubt Phil will tune an SCX past the limit of RTR racing and produce a rocket . I don't now if scaley have a race winner in this group . OOPs , I forgot about the group 5 CSL ??????

Here's a question , do we make it one car per driver .eg: no switching cars for different tracks or just leave it open as per usual so we have a chance to race our collections . If we limit it drivers will have to adjust their cars for mag and board track and some cars won,t win on both but it may make the racing more interesting .

Any thoughts . We have 20 odd ( and I mean odd ) racers , it's no good only 2 people responding to threads like this . Lets here from you.

Merry x-mas

Hi PAul
should be good , I will going for a Ninco GTR and a Carrera Z4 and M3 GT2 , the Carrera looks like it will go well on board or mag from what I have read.
Cars Excluded !
# LMP # M 1, 3.5 CSL # Fly 320 Group 5
Fly M1 everywhere .
I forgot about the group 5 CSL ??????

might be best to leave those 2 at home as they are excluded.
At least I have one car ready to go if I get to one of the rounds where this is run.

Well you all know what I'll be racing at Bob's (Ninco track) at least. I'm sure you all remember my little friend the Cartrix X3 with its NC1½ motor ???? No, for those that forget easily I have attached a picture .......

As for the others, maybe many a true word has been spoken here in jest! So many surfaces, so many combinations... perhaps the suggestion of one model for all events makes more sense than we think ?? Mmmmmmmm???

One thing's for sure, whatever the format I will be wearing long sleeves until then! Mmm??

That's where I'll be keeping my ideas!
