Re: The new slotcar 'Black'

Hey thats pretty cool!

Does anyone else remember the Cosworth powered Ford Transit Supervans from the 70's and 80's.
I think the Supervan 2 was based around the stillborn Ford Le Mans car at the time.

I have plenty of these bodies lying around now, just a bit short on chassis.
I'll PM it when I'm done.

Denny Hulme's 1973 Yardley M23

http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff224/DesloTed/P1010015.jpg Hi Everyone, Here is my 1973 Denny Hulme Mclaren. Obviously it started life as a Scaley Mclaren from 1976. I sliced off the back of the sidepods and filled in the rear with plasticard. Filed down the airbox and reshaped it with milliput...

Facelifted BT44 Brabham - updates added

http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff224/DesloTed/P1010001.jpg I've been busy with my facelifts again, this time it's a 70's scaley BT44 onto the newish M23 Mclaren chassis. I sentioned and rejoined the car adding a 16mm piece of reinforced plasticard between the cock pit and nose section. Then I r...

Monoplace Protoslot Brabham

I love to be able to share some photos with You guys of this great kit of My new Brabham. But After waiting for a month and emailing the guy in France. It appears very likely that some rat Bast**d has knocked it off during transit. $85 bucks worth. It's a pain, all the stuff I've had sent from UK of...

Re: New Can Am cars!

Arrgh !!!! That Mclaren is awesome. I want one so badly it hurts. Unfortunately I think I'll have to take my chances and wait. The Bank account has had a real hiding this last Month or so. 3 x Fly March, 1 x A. Jones Williams, 2 x Scaley F1's and the Monoplace Brabham which has still not showed up f...

For all the classic F1 Tragics,The Alan Jones version of FW07 Fly is now available. Cheap as chips at topslots. This one actually has the little "BIN LADEN CONTRACTING" advertising decal on the side. (Yes that Bin Laden, well his family anyway). Didn't expect that!!! Once I applied the Wix...

Re: Do we really need Trophies!???

Interesting thread Jordan, one that started to cross my mind a couple of years ago. Before I moved from the big smoke to the country. There used to be a time when each and every Friday night I would pack my cars and head off down the road to race at a local track. It was a rare thing that trophy's w...

Re: Lobsterclaw Brabham kit now available

Hi Guys, Pendle slot still have the March Chassis, but sold out of wheels and tyres. So unfortunately I'll be ratting a complete car. Pity, because I like them, but I have a few. You can still buy them pretty cheaply fromTopslots. A spare March body probably isn't a bad thing as I reckon a good shun...

Re: Modifieds

Hi Smithspeedway, Never saw those racing at any tracks in Perth, Although We did run a class for 1/32 Flexi V8 supercars on Brass Chassis at Chequered Flag raceway. Good Fun too. Can't say I've seen many Ovals either. I think we tend towards road circuits here, as thats our thing. Although there mus...

Making your car Impact resistant.

Hi Guys, I've been using that blue / grey milliput putty on a little project, at the same time I was using little bits of blu tac to hold the project firmly on the bench while working on it. Whatever you do don't ever accidently pick up a piece of Blu tac mistaking it for a piece of mixed Milliput. ...

Proto kit Brabham on the way soon

Monoplace / Protokit are about to release a version of the Lobsterclaw Brabham to fit to a fly March Version. http://www.proto-slot-kit.com/monoplace_MN003-1.html It seems impossible to get hold of the Ligier JS5 kit released earlier, I hope one of these turns up in Oz. Does anyone know of anyone wh...
