Re: Q32 Jan '10 meeting

A random thought, but the entire problem with the Slot.it Alfa 33/3 and Ferrari 375 is simply the fact they have the V12/3 and so are out of the motor class of the others? Surprised nobody has suggested putting a SIMX12 (19.5k rpm @ 12v) motor in the things? Like I said, it's a random thought! Does ...

Re: Slotcar of the decade

For me, my choices and my reasons Scalextric MG Lola - this car was just insane. It really was. I remember the fun nights at Chris' track racing these around and shooting out against Mr. Wix himself for lap records. I'm not sure who had it at the end, but all I know is we'd end up pipping each other...

Merry Christmas (Slotmas) to all

I figured I'd get in early, as I doubt I'll be on the internet at all tomorrow. Well, I might be, but I won't be for long. I subscribe to the teachings of Bart Simpson at this time of year, and it is as follows: "Aren't we forgetting the true meaning of Christmas? You know, the birth of Santa.&...

Assuming you guys are all positive feed controlled tracks up there - which you guys should be I do think... I believe the same person messaged me asking about mine, and here's what I replied with: PMTR2110 "Professor Motor "CLUB RACER PRO - LOW VOLTAGE" Model Electronic Slot Racing Co...

Well my Mazda 787B rocked up tonight, looks absolutely stunning, and is now sitting in it's box on my shelf.

Win :)

Re: Slot.it Mazda 787B Le Mans 1991

Phil - I agree entirely with your remarks in not racing it.

Mine is going to sit in the box. As pointless as it seems to get a slot car to not actually race it.... I'll get either the Efini or the other Mazda one coming out next year if I want to race a Mazda 787B.

Christmas Wishlists

We're at that time of the year when there's presents to be had and things to get... So I'm wondering what's on the Christmas Wishlist for everyone else. Mine is pretty simple really... Slot.its! Efini Mazda 787B - I've already got a Renown coming that's just going to sit in the box. and get all the ...

Re: Allmost ready

Phil - I do think that Ninco and Scalextric cars would go quite nicely around there.

Given its styled after Suzuka

It defintely needs to have a Japanese GT car only race!

smallnails new track

smallnails pulled a shifty on us! He had this old track that he bought from somewhere... and decided to destroy it! Entirely to make a new track. And it's a bit of a ripper, all routing aside. Track runs on 12 volts, and is pretty challenging to drive in a couple of sections - the wiggles require ab...

A fair point considering they were around in 83-84 all the way to the 90s.

Nobody would be able to run the Mazda though, that was after 89 :P
