Forum Upgraded

G'day all, Just a forewarning that I'll be upgrading the software over the next couple of days, as a new version has been released that promises to be much improved. Planning on doing this either late Thursday night or Friday morning. Either way, everything will be backed up before I start, so every...

Re: modification to my track

Ah yes, I see what you mean now.

Fair enough I suppose, I think I only drove your track once or twice, but I never really noticed it!!

Hopefully that car rocks up today for you Jordan, though I suspect it might be tomorrow given the wonders of the postal service.

Cheers,

Rob

Re: Slotcars we dream of

Consider this the boy racer in me, but I'd kill for any of the following in 1/32 scale.

* AE86 Toyota Sprinter - would have to have the compulsory Watanabe wheels.
* Mazda FC RX-7
* Mazda FD RX-7
* Nissan 180SX
* Nissan S15

Sadly, I don't think we'll see them :(

Re: Ninco N1

They really are just an entry series of cars.

Ninco have done the same thing with a Chevrolet Corvette.

Scalextric do the same thing with the V8 Supercars.

So eh.

It's a way of keeping costs down, while still charging an exorbitant amount for the car?? :P

Daytona Prototypes - more on the way

One would think YES, given we have brilliant cars from Racer and some good ones from Fly. However, here's a new body coming out from Racer for this year.. The Dallara Daytona Prototype! Check out that nose! Very accurate to the real thing! I foresee that these cars are going to become a popular clas...

Re: Vanquish MG cars

No intention of racing it... I just want to do some laps on tracks with it from time to time. In the case of the diff then, I've got some tamiya grease stuff from when I did RC cars for a while, considering the diffs in them were a plastic sun gear arrangement as well, I think I'll be able to squeez...

Vanquish MG cars

Gday gday,

I've just taken delivery of a Vanquish MG car, and wondering what I can do in regards to the diff in order to keep it working - as I don't really want to replace the axle.

Any tips or tricks anyone can suggest?

Cheers,

Rob

Re: 'Slotcar of the Decade'

I've only been racing slot cars for about 6 years, so I can't very well have a full impression of the past decade of cars. For me though Scalextric MG Lola Ford Mustang Both were insanely fast cars on plastic - and the Mustang is good on wood as well, the finish on both was excellent - although the ...

If they arent 4WD, they are doing a grave disservice to the Nissan Skyline.
