Re: A new Ferrari from Ostorero?

I think these cars from Ostorero are the ducks guts.

The currently available lotus 79 JPS car looks fantastic.

Unforunately they are way out of my reach as far as price is concerned.

Re: Sprit BMW 1600 or 2002

Hi Coldshooter,
I like the way youve thought about the Bee Em.
good to see yet another fan of "less is more" scenario.

Jordan's right on the money with the BWA F can conversions too.

Drivability is everything unless Youre a drag racer.

Re: FLY 908/3

Check for endfloat inthe rear axle, fly classics are notorious for it, (like really bad) pop off one or both rims whatever is required and shim it with 3/32 washers. Any weirdness from any endfloat will be magnified heaps with sticky rubber. Also another Fly classic drama is that I'd say 75% of the ...

Re: SCX Barracuda

Good luck Denny,
Theyre sold out virtually everywhere.
Although I believe there will be a second run coming, so maybe preorder one from your local SCX dealer.
If anyone knows of a secret stash somewhere I'm keen too.

Re: Question about power supply

Guys, Thats brilliant, thanks for the responses. I tend to try and run on less voltage anyway, especially with my classic GP cars with those F can missiles, so that might not be an issue. I dont think I'll be running a super long straight anyway. The Solar panels are an excellent idea, and so is the...

Question about power supply

Back when I lived in Perth. I had a large games room where I had a permanent scaley sport track and I went down to the local tracks to race on Wood. Now I live in the country I have a small house and no games room. But I do have a big shed. But it's a long way from the house and not powered (to far ...

Re: javelin AMX

Welcome to the Outhouse Denny.
I don't think the Pioneer Javelin is out Yet. But If you can't wait, RMS Resins do a kit that fit onto a scaley Chassis, from what I hear Dave Reinecke's Bodies are top Notch and very easy to get along with.

Brabham Fancar Slotcar

I dont know if anyone else has been following the thread overseas on S/F, about the guy who turned an old scaley brabham into a replica of the "once only raced" 1978 Brabham fan car, with operating fan and skirts. Well the guy gave it it's first run, theres a video up and a few blokes test...

Re: White Lake Formula 1 ring

In closing to leave you all with this pleasant thought. It's not just socks that I'm not sitting on here without! I thought there would be a few more comments about that Track layout, but then the thread goes quiet and theres an awkward silence broken only by the sound of crickets cheeping. Geez, I...
