Re: Front motor scrtatch builds

Twisting the spring clockwise will expand the coil so it will release as you twist and pull . Same ...

Re: New Trophy class

Just had to change my mind . Had Phil and Goony over last night and we spent the last hour racing NC1 classic sports and just laughed our heads off . Goon had a NINCO JAG , Phil had a Scratch Built AC Cobra and I drove an Carrera Morgan plus 8 converted to NC1 . So three very different spec. cars wi...

Friday Happy Hour

Howdy to the Locals With the next Legends meet booked at my place I thought it was time to dust off the track and run a few casual laps to get it rubbered up and drivable again so, I am having a Happy Hour style social night on Friday . Phil has indicated he will be around in the afternoon to help s...

Re: New Trophy class

Just a quick note about motor spec , although NC1 is a lot of fun , I usually think of CAN-AM cars as open rules anything goes super modified cars with 5/6/7/8 litre engines quoted as being faster than GP cars of the time . Any thoughts about how you want the cars to perform . I like setting up cars...

Re: New Trophy class

Hey Rob

At a couple of meetings recently we had 18-19 guys front up . Makes for a long nights racing . What sought of numbers are you getting down your way .

You also mentioned you may be back for a visit this time of year , is that still on the cards ?

Re: New Trophy class

Howdy

Can-Am sound good to me and I agree with the " no blow in " policy . Not sure about NC1 however , would rather run cars I have with 18,000 rpm motors but will be happy to go along with majority . Unless nobody else logs in looks like I'm the majority ! Yipeeeee......

Re: Do we really need Trophies!???

Tough one Jord . I guess it depends on what you were looking for when you sought out the racing groups . Keep in mind that although we are not racing for sheep stations , some people like to race and enjoy a bit of friendly competition . That is why there are various groups catering for different ty...

Re: Guide line update for second half 2010

Hi Jord Take a deep breath and relax mate , read between the lines and look at the big picture . Phil is a Sclex/SCX man and intends to run his Legends outfit in that guise . First to fall were Fly and now it seems Ninco are not worthy . When you look critically at the feild theirs not much left Fly...
