Re: MRRC BRM P261 renovation

I've had the chance to run the model on a couple of different tracks and have been pleasantly surprised on both occasions. On its first outing it was plain that the front axle was dragging a bit as the model displayed tail end manoeuvres on the exit of slow bends, but a touch with the soldering iron...

Re: SCX Aston Martin GT2 'Gulf'

Since buying the model I have had some fun with it, after bueprinting I have managed to get it into the top three in GT class, this include racing many mainstream makes, so while that side of developement was going as planned I decided to look at another anomaly, NO REAR WING! Countless searches of ...

Morris outing

Wifey and I were recently out on the bicycles taking in the warmth of a sunny Queensland spring day when a notice at a local roundabout proclaimed there to be an outing, no less, for those who have been beguiled by the fairest and cutest of cars, the Morris Minor, plus their progeny. I learned a lon...

Re: Scalextric Lotus 49 Graham Hill

Hi Dirkduck, Its a long while now since I had it apart, but I have raced it successfully in more recent times on a painted magnabraid track where it worked quite well on MJK urethanes. One plus though is that one sided exhaust was knocked off in one of the heats and when I reglued it I put it back o...

Re: MJK 250 Berlinetta 1961

I have since tested the model with the uprated cube motor and found it to be more than adequate. Also, with the new gearing it is slightly faster than an NC1 on a larger circuit although it isn't quite as nippy, and the motor braking is a little less effective. All in all I am pleased with its perfo...

Hi Dave

You can contact Ian on the 'MJK Engineering' web site, the body normally comes with an MJK chassis but you'll need to speak to Ian regarding bodies only.
