Re: Fly Viper Loose front wheels?

Hi Phil, Yes body screws are loose. I took it for another run the other day after re-glueing the driveshaft bush back in, it seemed to hold together this time, 1/2 a dozen laps later a rear wheel came off! Give me a $50 Scaley any day

Re: Fly Viper Loose front wheels?

Superglued the front wheels to the little stub axles and worked ok, Super glued the driveshaft bush in place carefully, cleaned all surfaces with shellite, 6 laps of Red Racer's track and the shaft came out again. All I can say is for a $100 car, it is a piece of crap!

Fly Viper Loose front wheels?

Hi Guys, I am trying to sort out a new Fly Dodge Viper my brother purchased last week. I is a front engined car, the 2 things that are terrible on it are, the driveshaft bush keeps coming out and this has already chewed up 1 rear gear, and the front wheels are on some sort of separate pin each side ...

Re: MJK's for the Carrera McLaren

I put a set of MJK 4201 on the Mclaren today, they fit on the rims, they are not quite as wide as the s and are a bit taller, I sanded them down and seem to work ok. This may be a good compromise until we can get an exact set!
Thanks Ken

Re: Carrera 30K Motor

Yes Phil, Same pinions, I took the car down to Red Racer today and tried it on his track, and it is killer fast, I may not have enough power on my home track? I am running 14.8V Carrera power pack.

Carrera 30K Motor

I purchased a Carrera 30000RPM tuning motor today and put it in one of my stock Carrera Nissan GT-R cars, the car had a E200 in it and I assume it is an 18000RPM at 12V. With the 30K motor the car is not even a fraction faster, but when you free rev it, it sounds like it is revving higher. Any idea's?
