Re: New venue at the coast

Psssst, have you been down to iLOL lately ? Track number 5 .... and its extreme. Photo's coming very soon....it has a massive main straight with incline on and off, elevation and some very learn-able sections. A mixture of all the other tracks and yet a style of its own. 5 lanes, separate adjustable...

Re: Guide line update for second half 2010

Jordan, There are no motors running 18k @ 12v that have the torque of the Ninco. The closest I have found is the one I used in the Autoart Veyron in the unmarked supercars and it pushed that AWD portly sow along just nicely at 2.8:1 gear ratio. Didn't quite have the brakes but hustled along well. It...

Re: I'm out of Control

A late buy in on the topic my friends, but as you would have noticed last legends round, I procured said Slot.it hairdryer. My logic for such a decision I feel is solid, but that is only because I said so. It all started at a particular round of a particular cup series at a local store circuit. Havi...

Re: Trophy Class for second half 2009

Nice one Eggy, sounds good. What about the Scaley Ferrari F430/Lamborghini Gallardo super resistant bodies. They are currently about $40 online, unbreakable, they are neck-n-neck in performance, and we can easily remove one of each of them and repaint so we could have yellow (standard Lambo), red St...

Re: Trophy Class for second half 2009

Can we all cope with 6 rounds of over powered trucks stumbling over themselves on ever other corner. If they are anything like the NINCO pro trucks grip is poor at best, without magnets they suffer massive understeer. However, if we were to add artificial lumps to the track to keep them at semi cont...

Re: Trophy Class for second half 2009

The Dodge Viper and the MERCEDES BENZ SLR McLAREN ROAD CAR are both in line so have different gearing (9/27 instead of sidewinder 11/36). Generally quicker on longer circuits. Theres a bit of knowledge out there on SCX tweaks, it may be hard to maintain parity. A closed can motor like Scaley is prob...

Re: Trophy Class for second half 2009

What about looking at the trophy class for what it is. Driver against driver. All other classes allow plenty of variation in make/model/brand etc. Therefore for trophy, have all the cars stock standard and the same. Everyone drives the same car, same brand, same make and model. Only allow tyre chang...
